Property Manager II Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Property Manager II to oversee the daily operations of our affordable housing community in Dorchester, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the apartment community to meet financial objectives and comply with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with senior management to establish rent levels and oversee rent schedules.
- Process timely and accurate move-ins, move-outs, recertifications, and renewals.
- Approve rental applications and ensure property tenant files are organized and accurate.
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal program regulations.
- Direct maintenance team to implement maintenance programs and controls.
- Report property incidents and resolve resident issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare the property's annual budget and provide accurate financial reporting.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
- LIHTC and PBS8 affordable housing program certification experience.
- A current driver's license in good standing.
- Less than 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of property management and landlord and tenant laws.
- Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Experience with Yardi or RealPage property management software.
