Full-Time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant: Developing Communication Skills

We are seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team in West Lafayette, IN. This full-time, onsite position involves working under the supervision of a speech-language pathologist to support students in developing their communication skills within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the supervising SLP in providing speech and language therapy to students, ensuring that they receive tailored support to meet their individual needs.
- Carry out treatment plans and conduct therapy sessions as directed by the SLP, using evidence-based practices to drive student progress.
- Document student progress and share updates with the supervising SLP, fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Create a supportive and engaging environment that encourages student participation and growth, promoting a love of learning and development.
- An associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field is required for this role, demonstrating a strong foundation in theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
- A valid SLPA license in Indiana is necessary, ensuring compliance with state regulations and professional standards.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory, as we provide comprehensive training and support to help you succeed.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role, as you will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
