Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Senior Living Communities. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional person-centered care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and transfers.
- Support residents with dining, including escorting, transferring, and serving meals.
- Assist with housekeeping services, including bed making, trash removal, and room cleaning.
- Lead and assist with life enrichment activities, such as crafts, games, and daily pleasures.
- Escort residents to scheduled programming and participate in outings and day trips.
- Take and record vital signs and weights as ordered or required by regulations.
- Participate in and attend all in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
- State Certification as a Nursing Assistant
- Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid
- Two years' experience in a similar healthcare position preferred
- Technical Skills: Demonstrates current and ongoing competence in tasks assigned, indicating a specialized skill in this area above and beyond the average.
- Communication: Effectively and regularly transfers information to necessary parties to improve the quality of work and provide the supervisor with actionable, accurate data.
- Initiative: Self-motivated and personally competitive, seeking additional work when capacity allows.
- Flexibility: Adapts to changing conditions on the fly and navigates obstacles with ease and professionalism.
- Interpersonal Skills: Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming, and remains open to ideas and tries new things.
- Teamwork: Balances team and individual responsibilities, encourages others, and asks for help when needed.
- Professionalism: Ensures service is delivered on time and of the highest quality, assumes responsibility for mistakes, and presents themselves in a manner that enhances the brand image.
