Hotel Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Hotel Engineering/Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep of our hotel's infrastructure, encompassing buildings, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing maintenance personnel and spearheading renovation and repair projects. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, proactive thinking, and a strong commitment to health and safety standards.

As Hotel Infrastructure Specialist, your primary focus will be on ensuring our hotel premises are safe, functional, and in line with brand standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting regular inspections, repairs, and maintenance of various hotel systems and equipment.
• Collaborating with maintenance personnel to maintain a high level of service quality.
• Maintaining the building, guest rooms, and common areas in pristine condition.
• Organizing repair projects to minimize disruptions to guests.
• Planning and overseeing renovations and construction.
• Responding promptly to emergency situations such as power outages.
• Identifying and reporting potential safety hazards and notifying supervisors of any damages or disturbances.
• Performing basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpet, and tile floor maintenance and repairs.
• Carrying out painting, minor roof repairs, and other exterior projects.
• Assisting with exercise room and equipment repairs when necessary.
• Prioritizing preventative maintenance programs.
• Collaborating with the General Manager and Housekeeping Director to identify and implement technical and skilled-related projects.
• Negotiating with contractors and service providers.
• Maintaining accurate budgets, expenses, and activity logs.
• Occasionally reporting to the hotel in inclement weather conditions for exterior maintenance duties.

This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility in scheduling, particularly during peak seasons or periods of high guest occupancy.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
