Intensive Care Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit as a RN Inpatient Rehab specialist. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care while promoting a positive work environment.
Job Summary
- Deliver exceptional patient-centered care in line with departmental requirements and state standards of practice.
- Collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care.
- Act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse with Associate Degree.

Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $85,000 and $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This compensation package includes a comprehensive benefits program, which includes health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
