Job Description:
Syms Strategic Group (SSG), a leading provider of strategic services, is seeking an experienced Technical Test Automation Engineer to support a large Department of Veterans Affairs nationwide program.

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled professional with extensive experience in test automation and software development. As a Technical Test Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute automated tests using Selenium WebDriver and other tools to ensure seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Design and implement test automation strategies to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and prioritize test cases.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Work closely with engineers and QA teams to manage and improve the development pipeline.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
  • At least 8 years of experience in automated software development and testing.
  • Proficiency in Java, C#, or Python programming languages.
  • Experience with EDI and financial transaction systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of IT products, operating systems, software, hardware, systems, and networks.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with T-SQL and Visual Studio.
  • Knowledge of MUMPS, VistA, and other VA systems.

Security Clearance Requirements:
The selected candidate must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.

Citizenship Requirement:
This position requires U.S. citizenship.

Location:
The preferred location is Florida, but other locations may be considered based on candidate qualifications and other factors.

Salary:
$93,725 - $114,650 per year.
