About the Role:

Irisndt, Inc. is seeking a full-time NDT Trainee to join our team in El Dorado, KS. This role offers an exciting opportunity for career growth and professional development.

As an NDT Trainee, you will assist experienced technicians in performing non-destructive testing of materials while training to become a certified technician. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training and support. Our goal is to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist NDT technicians in setting up and calibrating equipment under supervision.
  • Contribute to inspecting materials and reporting findings accurately.
  • Collaborate with radiographers in performing radiography of piping and equipment.
  • Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Become familiar with relevant codes and procedures.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License and pre-access drug and alcohol testing required.
  • Pre-employment background checks will be conducted.
  • 40hr Radiation Safety Training required.
  • Radiographer state card will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including dental insurance, vision insurance, health insurance, paid time off, 401(k) matching, flexible spending account, and health savings account.
