Claims Intake Coordinator

This position is part of our team responsible for administrative claim setup, initial claim review, and editing member data in billing systems.
As a Claims Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for determining coverage amounts, policy requirements, group contacts and preferences, and payment procedures.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with high school diploma or GED and three years of claims experience or a bachelor’s degree and one year of claims experience.
Our ideal candidate will have customer service experience, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
They will also have knowledge of state regulations, statutes, and ERISA, as well as clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of ECM, STAR (Claim System), Genelco/GIAS, Siebel, UTS, Casetrak, Docsql, Benefits Manager, ImagePlus, and Index Assist Tool
Aptitude for math and critical thinking skills
Detailed oriented
