Compassionate Speech and Language Specialist for Student Success

**About the Role**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Specialist to join our team. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to work with students, helping them overcome communication challenges and achieve their full potential.
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress and ensure seamless communication.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing valuable input on student goals and progress.
- Stay current with the latest practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology, applying this expertise to inform clinical decisions.
**Qualifications**
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, demonstrating a strong foundation in theoretical knowledge and clinical skills.
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is highly desirable, reflecting a commitment to professional excellence.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued, offering insights into the unique challenges and opportunities inherent in this context.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills are essential, enabling effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
