Harvest Cellar Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cellar Assistant to join our team at Precept Wine during the harvest season. As a Cellar Assistant, you will play a critical role in the wine production process, working closely with our winemaking team to ensure the highest quality wines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the movement of juice/wine from tank to tank using pumps, hoses, and fittings.
• Weigh additives and make additions to the juice/wine.
• Sanitize tanks, hoses, pumps, and fittings.
• Operate pumps, presses, and filters.
• Maintain accurate records and perform accurate data entry.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the winemaking team.

Requirements:

• Ability to work quickly, accurately, and safely.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-starter with initiative and willingness to learn and follow new procedures.
• Previous experience in a winery preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills required.
• High school graduate or GED required.
• College degree preferred but not required.

What We Offer:

• A paid part-time position under 32 hours per week, Monday – Friday, with extended hours during harvest.
