Clinical Director Assistant - Eating Disorders Treatment

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Director Assistant to join our team at Monte Nido Portland, a premier residential treatment program in West Linn, OR. The successful candidate will provide leadership in managing clinical functions related to the treatment of adults with eating disorders.

Monte Nido Portland is dedicated to helping adults who are struggling with eating disorders, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and Exercise Addiction. Our comprehensive treatment approach focuses on restoring physiological and nutritional balance, promoting healthy eating and exercise habits, eliminating harmful behaviors, and fostering motivation and engagement in the recovery process.

Responsibilities
  1. Adhere to Facility Philosophy: Embody the organization's mission and values by providing exceptional care and support to patients and their families.
  2. Lead Clinical Staff Meetings: Function as leader of Clinical Staff Meetings in the absence of the Clinical Director, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  3. Implement Performance Improvement Plans: Assist in developing and implementing plans to improve performance and enhance patient outcomes.
  4. Develop Cost-Effective Service Methods: Collaborate with program leadership to identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining high-quality patient care.
  5. Provide Supervision for Staff Development: Assist in supervising staff development, ensuring that employees receive necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  6. Facilitate Communication with Ancillary Services: Establish and maintain effective communication with external providers, such as medical professionals and therapists, to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  7. Recruit and Interview New Employees: Participate in the recruitment and interviewing process for new staff members, ensuring that candidates possess the necessary skills and qualifications for the role.
  8. Attend Clinical and Administrative Meetings: Attend meetings to share information inter-departmentally, promoting collaboration and open communication among teams.
  9. Collaborate with Program Leadership: Work closely with program leaders to achieve strategic objectives and advance the organization's mission.
  10. Demonstrate Knowledge of Policies and Procedures: Possess a deep understanding of administrative and clinical policies and procedures, communicating these clearly and accurately to staff.
  11. Emergency Procedures: Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and communicate them effectively to staff.
  12. Direct and Supervise Program Activities: Assist in directing and supervising program activities, ensuring that they align with organizational goals and objectives.
  13. Complete Job Duties and Timeframes: Meet all job duties and timeframes as described in the Primary Therapist checklist.
  14. Ensure Clinical Staff Meets Educational/Licensure Requirements: Assist in ensuring that clinical staff meets educational and licensure requirements, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
  15. Prepare for Joint Commission and State Audits: Assist in preparing for audits, ensuring that the facility is in compliance with regulatory standards.
  16. Formulate Standards for Patient Care: Contribute to the development of standards for patient care, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
Qualifications
  1. Master's Degree: Possess a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, preferably with knowledge in eating disorders.
  2. Eating Disorder Experience: Have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with eating disorder clients.
  3. Licensed to Practice: Be licensed to practice a clinical discipline in the applicable state, as required.
  4. CPR Certification: Hold current CPR certification.

The estimated salary for this position is $$85,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
