About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Beaverton Box Facility. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to identify potential problems and schedule repairs.
  • Assist in planning and executing projects, including cost estimation and procurement of materials.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and peers on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Work safely by following established safety protocols and procedures, and identifying potential hazards to supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repair logs and maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Mechanical Journeyman or Technical/Vocation Certificate preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as basic design and fabrication principles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
