Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medical Tech will provide a professional and caring atmosphere to all customer groups in a fast-paced, multi-tasked clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate PET equipment to produce images and measure concentrations of Radioactive Isotopes.
  • Maintain visual and verbal contact with patients during exams.
  • Record patient data and provide films when appropriate.
  • Assist clerical staff as needed and clean equipment and rooms.
  • Collaborate with Radiologists to forward PET-related data.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one-year prior nuclear medicine experience.
  • Ability to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods.
  • Extensive interactions with customers, including patients, families, and referring community.
