Job Overview

Code Ninjas, the world's largest kids coding franchise, is seeking a dynamic Youth Education Mentor to join our team. As a key member of our center, you will be responsible for providing a fun and safe learning environment for children aged 5-15.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day mentoring, coaching, and student engagement in a fun and safe learning environment.
  • Train on our curriculum and develop your expertise in teaching coding and STEM concepts to young minds.
  • Create a positive and supportive atmosphere that fosters growth and confidence in our students.
  • Work with children to assess their skill levels and provide tailored feedback to parents after each session.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties daily, ensuring the center is clean and tidy according to corporate standards.
  • Report weekly progress to the Center Assistant Manager and daily updates to the Center Manager on activities and productivity.

Requirements

  • A minimum of working history with children aged 5 and up, preferably in mentoring, coaching, or tutoring roles.
  • Experience working with the general public and ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledgeable about coding and technology, with the ability to quickly grasp basic concepts.
  • Must be a team player, comfortable collaborating with others and communicating effectively.
  • Familiarity with kids' favorite games such as Minecraft, Roblox, Dungeons & Dragons, 3D Printing, Rocket League, Fortnite, and Mario Kart is a plus.
