Job Summary
The Emergency Department Nurse Leader will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality patient care, leading the nursing team, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery. As a leader in our emergency department, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality patient care
- Lead the nursing team in providing patient-centered care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and care coordination
- Develop and implement nursing care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to patient care and unit operations
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and have current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan. You should also have experience working in an emergency department setting and demonstrated leadership skills. Additionally, you must be able to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams, and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Benefits
Henry Ford Health System offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
