Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Planet Healthcare is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Price, Utah.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a travel Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Utah.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week, with flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
