Surgical Scrub Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Scrub Technician to join our team at Phoenix Spine Goodyear ASC. As a Surgical Scrub Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a sterile environment during surgical procedures.

• Establish and maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team
• Assist the circulating nurse in maintaining a sterile environment
• Assist in gathering necessary surgical supplies and equipment
• Participate in the counting of sponges, needles, and instruments
• Assist in keeping physician preference cards accurate and up-to-date
• Transport surgical equipment to the appropriate cleaning areas
• Assist in the cleaning and reprocessing of instrument sets

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Scrub Technician program
• Two years of experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties
• Certification as a Scrub Technician is preferred
