About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Professional in the Telemetry Unit. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the overall well-being of our patients.

The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, with experience in caring for patients with complex medical conditions. You will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, test results, and treatment plans to develop effective care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient data, including heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare specialists to interpret data from medical technologies and equipment, making informed decisions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Administer medication and perform treatment interventions in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure that ward charts, patient files, and medical records are up-to-date and accurately reflect patient information.
  • Provide education and training to Telemetry Unit staff on patient care and treatment plans, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to address concerns and provide timely updates on patient progress.
  • Develop and implement post-hospital care plans, advising patients on prescribed medication, home care protocols, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes.
Requirements
  • A degree in nursing or a related field, preferably with a Bachelor of Science degree (BSN).
  • Current licensure to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
