As a Biomedical Equipment Technician II at MaineHealth, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, calibrating, modifying, specifying, installing, and maintaining a variety of diagnostic, therapeutic, and analytic biomedical equipment and related workstations/computers, networks, and systems. You will work closely with hospital staff to clarify equipment and system problems and projects.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair biomedical equipment and systems
Test and calibrate equipment to ensure proper function
Modify and specify equipment to meet hospital needs
Install and maintain equipment and systems
Collaborate with hospital staff to resolve equipment and system issues
Requirements
Associate's degree in Biomedical Electronics Technology or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, and computer systems
