Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team as a Travel MRI Imaging Specialist. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires national travel up to 6 months a year. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, performing high-quality scans, and troubleshooting equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners to perform high-quality scans
  • Ensure patient safety and follow Prenuvo Scan protocols
  • Order supplies, clean equipment, and prepare scan rooms
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and report to the relevant department
  • Utilize ancillary tools and equipment appropriately
  • Image post-processing, including transferring images to PACS
  • Leadership: train new technologists in patient safety, room preparation, and effective communication
Requirements
  • Strong base knowledge of MRI imaging and patient safety
  • Licensed with the appropriate board (ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) or equivalent)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • Completion of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program or radiologic technology program
  • Clinical work experience of at least 2 years
  • Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team and thrive in a high-pressure environment
