Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Details
The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist is a registered technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and licensed by the state as a general radiographer.
Responsibilities include providing timely diagnostic services to inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
Key responsibilities include performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
Additional responsibilities include knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.
The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.
Job Requirements
Only specific requirements are Certified by ARRT and Licensed in New Mexico.
Schedule Information
Shift is Tuesday thru Friday (7:00a - 7:00p) shifts. There will be one week (7 days) of call, every six weeks. 36-Hour Guarantee.
