About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Business Development Manager to join our team at Expeditors International.

Job Overview

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a sales professional with a strong track record of success in driving new business growth and revenue expansion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new leads, managing existing relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service to drive business results.

Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive lead generation, relationship-building, and strategic account management.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets, leveraging industry knowledge, market trends, and customer insights.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, ensuring timely data entry and effective communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Account Management: Foster long-term relationships with key customers, providing exceptional support, and ensuring seamless delivery of logistics solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management resources, to deliver value-added solutions for customers' logistics needs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years Sales experience in the logistics industry
  • Extroverted, confident, enthusiastic, and persuasive
  • Strong business acumen, influencer skills, and negotiation abilities
  • Fluent in supply chain terms and concepts, including diagnosis, process mapping methodology, and decision-making cost drivers
  • High level of commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
What We Offer:

Expeditors offers an attractive compensation package, including an estimated annual salary of $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as life insurance, major medical expenses coverage, employee stock purchase plan, training and personnel development program, and more.
