Job Summary

BrightStar Care is seeking a skilled Home Health Tech Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our home care team, you will work under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and Skilled Intake Coordinator to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and set up telehealth equipment in patient homes, ensuring seamless integration with our clinical team.
  • Educate patients and families on equipment usage, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Collaborate with our clinical team to enhance patient care, addressing any equipment issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations and equipment performance, ensuring compliance with our quality standards.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot as needed, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, linen changes, and light housekeeping, as directed.
  • Take and record vital signs, as required, to ensure accurate patient data.
  • Develop and promote a safe environment for quality client care, adhering to established policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure patient rights are respected and protected at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification in CPR (ARC) and current physical or T.B./PPD test, if applicable.
  • Licensed driver with reliable transportation, insured in accordance with our requirements.
  • Previous healthcare experience, preferably in-home as a caregiver.
  • Ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, with effective communication skills.
