Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and specialty care to patients of all ages, with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Conduct thorough health assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines in family medicine.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the appropriate state (if NP) or current licensure as a physician assistant in the appropriate state.
  • Current certification in CPR and national certification in the applicable area.
  • Successful completion of Essentia Health's credentialing process prior to practice.
Work Environment

This position is located in Ely, Minnesota, and may require occasional outreach to Babbitt, Minnesota. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative clinic practice setting, joining a team of 6 MDs and 2 APPs. Compensation and Benefits

Essentia Health offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $63.61 per hour. The successful candidate will also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
