Warehouse Shipping Operations Manager

As a key member of the Flowers Foods team, you will be responsible for directing the activities of shipping personnel on assigned shifts to ensure accurate and timely shipment of products to destinations. This role requires the ability to demonstrate competency in all on-the-job activities that may impact product safety, legality, and quality.
Job Responsibilities
• Supervise, train, and direct shipping personnel to ensure efficient and accurate shipping operations.
• Ensure production orders are filled correctly and distribution of products is completed according to schedule.
• Make adjustments in personnel assignments to cover absenteeism and emergencies.
• Review documents for accuracy and assist in identifying and eliminating errors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure employee compliance with work rules and company policies.
• Participate in the disciplinary action process as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
• Two or more years of related experience in shipping and logistics.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of formal management skills training program preferred.
