We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Foodservice Assistant to join our team at Geisinger. As a Foodservice Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care by preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

This is a per diem position, requiring flexibility and adaptability. You will work closely with our Food Services Team to ensure seamless operations and provide top-notch service to our patients. Key responsibilities of the Foodservice Assistant include:

  • Preparing and serving food to patients and staff
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitized food service environment
  • Taking and recording temperatures of food and storage areas
  • Weighing and measuring ingredients
  • Receiving and storing food supplies, equipment, and utensils
