Optum Patient Services Representative

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring a positive experience for every interaction
  • Register patients, verify insurance information, and collect payments
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to support patient care and meet financial, clinical, and service goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ year of customer service or healthcare experience preferred
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook and Teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
