Job Title: Retail Key Holder

At Filson, we're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Retail Key Holder to join our team. As a key holder, you will be responsible for leading our sales team to achieve new heights every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify customer needs and provide exceptional product knowledge to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Support the Store Manager in selecting and training store staff, including recruiting, orienting, and developing employees.
  • Observe and provide feedback to staff members to promote a culture of 360-degree communication.
  • Manage a training plan and provide in-the-moment coaching to drive key performance indicators.
  • Support marketing events and stories through in-store promotions, client emails, and community outreach.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure the availability of merchandise and services.
  • Ensure that Filson standards and operating standards are met or exceeded to support brand consistency.
  • Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
  • Manage customer service and selling to drive a performance culture.
  • Support store operations by enforcing company programs, initiatives, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional selling skills, customer service, and clienteling.
  • Minimum of one year in a leadership role.
  • Experience using data to make informed decisions.
  • People development and growth experience.
  • Friendly and outgoing; service mentality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • PC-based computer skills, including Word and Excel.

Requirements:

  • Able to lift and carry 30 pounds.
  • Able to reach overhead.
  • Able to pull clothing and luggage from shelves.
  • Able to bend, kneel, or stoop.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
