Trailer Maintenance Technician

About the Job:

We're seeking skilled Trailer and Vehicle Repair Specialists to join our team at U-Haul. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet remains in top condition for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure trailers on lifts and dollies for maintenance and repairs
  • Perform routine tire and brake maintenance, including tire rotation and replacement
  • Rebuild and repair braking systems and trailer components
  • Dismount, balance, and mount tires to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Occasionally road-test vehicles to ensure they're in good working order
  • Work on a production line to meet high-volume maintenance demands

Requirements:

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of repair experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Basic computer skills
  • Regular attendance and a commitment to meeting deadlines

Work Environment:
