Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Recruitment Coordinator to join our Human Resources Team at Visiting Angels of Jenkintown, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing our agency's human resources department by identifying, screening, and onboarding new caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and build a talented caregiving team to support the agency's growth and development.
  • Lead new hire training and ongoing training of current caregiver staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure the organization's safety and compliance.
  • Anticipate, assess, and minimize litigation risks by staying up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a strategic business advisor and mentor to caregivers within the organization, providing guidance and support to help them succeed in their roles.
  • Assist the Manager/Director with various tasks and duties as needed.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in Human Resources, including recruitment and hiring.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Strong understanding of the identification, screening, interview, and onboarding process.
  • Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.
  • High level of proficiency in HR systems, including recruiting, training, and performance review.
  • Experience working in a progressive HR environment with exposure to best practices in talent management, employee relations, change management, and recruitment.
  • Working knowledge of internet recruiting tools and applicant tracking systems.
