About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Lift Technician to join our team at Alltex Staffing & Personnel. As a Hydraulic Lift Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic lifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Proficiency with tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and torque tools is essential for lift installation and maintenance.
  • Suspension System Knowledge: Understanding components like shock absorbers, struts, springs, control arms, and bushings; ability to diagnose and repair wear or damage effectively.
  • Alignment Expertise: Skills in performing wheel alignments to maintain proper tire wear and vehicle handling with familiarity in using alignment machines and tools.
  • Chassis Repair: Experience working with the vehicle's frame or chassis, understanding its impact on suspension performance.
  • Steering Systems: Knowledge of how suspension affects steering, including inspection and repair of tie rods, ball joints, and rack-and-pinion systems.
  • Tire and Wheel Knowledge: Understanding the effect of different suspension setups on tire wear and performance and working with various wheel and tire sizes.
  • Diagnostic Tools: Familiarity with tools for testing suspension performance and identifying issues.
  • Hydraulic Systems Knowledge: Understanding hydraulic principles, including fluid dynamics, pressure control, and cylinder operations. Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic pumps, valves, and seals.
  • Electrical Systems: Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, troubleshooting, and wiring for lifts with electric motors and control systems.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Experience with welding and metalworking for custom brackets or modifications.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and torque tools.
  • Understanding of suspension system components and ability to diagnose and repair wear or damage.
  • Skills in performing wheel alignments and familiarity with alignment machines and tools.
  • Experience working with vehicle frames or chassis and understanding its impact on suspension performance.
