This exciting opportunity for a Corporate Counsel – Product and Compliance seeks an experienced professional to provide legal expertise in ensuring Volpara's compliance with global laws and regulations.

The Role:

  • You will be responsible for providing coordinated legal advice on complex issues related to product development, market access, and sales channels.
  • Collaborate closely with go-to-market and operational teams to manage risks, identify legal issues, and drive informed decision-making.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and advise on data privacy, data protection, and artificial intelligence matters.
  • Develop employee training programs to educate staff on regulations and industry practices.
  • Support the General Counsel in building scalable processes for the legal function.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and member in active good standing of a state bar.
  • At least 6 years of experience advising on regulatory compliance issues specific to healthcare or medical devices.
  • Proven expertise in software product and technology-related legal matters.
  • Exceptional communication skills to analyze complex problems and deliver practical solutions.
  • Able to work remotely, preferably based on the West Coast (San Francisco, CA, Portland, OR, or Seattle, WA).
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required, subject to legally recognized exemptions.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range: $180,000 - $200,000 per year, equivalent to full-time employment. Benefits include participation in medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans; a 401K plan with company matching; and generous paid time off.

Additional Information:

  • This role will be hybrid if the successful candidate resides near our Lynnwood, WA office. Otherwise, it will be fully remote.
