">**About the Role**
">The Vocational Community Specialist will be responsible for promoting person-centered employment planning and services, ensuring that individuals receive appropriate support to meet their desired employment outcomes, and helping build and promote positive community relations to ensure employment and training opportunities are available. This role requires a strong understanding of job development principles, including helping individuals identify, seek, attain, and maintain employment.

">**Key Responsibilities**
">* Implement person-centered employment planning and services to support individuals in achieving their vocational goals
">* Collaborate with individuals, families, and community stakeholders to identify and develop employment opportunities
">* Provide on-the-job coaching and training to help individuals achieve their desired employment outcomes
">* Maintain accurate records and documentation, including progress notes and billing information
">* Develop and implement individualized service plans to promote independent living and competitive integrated employment
">
">**Requirements**
">* High school diploma or equivalent required; two or more years of experience in serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
">* Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
">* Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license required
">* Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred
