Job Title: Hospital Access Navigator

Job Summary:

The Hospital Access Navigator is a critical role within the Admission-Care Navigation Department, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day work of the Access Team staff members. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on promoting the mission and vision of Empath Health. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams, driving results, and improving patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Access Team in developing and implementing strategic plans to improve patient access and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with hospital partners to strengthen relationships and establish Empath Health as a preferred provider
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, physicians, and staff
  • Provide coaching and guidance to Access Team staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest regulatory and industry developments to ensure compliance and best practices

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business) or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Proven track record of managing teams and driving results
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Valid CPR certification and current certifications as applicable to their professional discipline
