Electrical Engineer for Distribution System Modeling

Job Title: FLISR Electrical Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled FLISR Electrical Engineer to join our team at OneTech. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with various teams to support our integrated voltage-var optimization (IVVO)/Fault location, isolation, and service restoration (FLISR) program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IVVO/FLISR strategies
- Create settings for devices such as cap bank controllers, reclosers, and other equipment
- Support communications and integration testing of capacitor banks to advanced distribution management systems
- Maintain issue trackers on field issues and provide proactive communication to management on issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with power distribution systems and utility operations
- Experience with distribution system modeling tools such as Synergi and/or CYME
- Familiarity with Advanced Distribution Management System Applications (e.g., IVVO, FLISR)
- Programming skills in Python, C/C++
- Proficient in MS Suite
