About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety Intern to join our team at Kiewit Corporation. As a Safety Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our employees and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring construction projects to ensure compliance with government regulations, client, and company policies and procedures.
- Help establish and maintain safe working conditions for our employees.
- Review project work plans for accuracy and assist in safety program audits, coaching, and regular onsite training.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, or a related field of study.
- Knowledge of construction safety and current Federal and OSHA requirements.
- Ability to travel and relocate as required.
