Medical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our medical team at Concentra. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the medical policies and programs at our center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare to our patients and clients.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and lead by example, creating a positive patient experience.
- Collaborate with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure.
- Monitor key clinical center metrics, including quality outcomes, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance.
- Manage clinicians and support staff, ensuring compliance with APC supervisory requirements.
- Foster a professional and collaborative working environment, promoting teamwork, quality, and patient safety.
- Work with the Director of Medical Operations to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous clinical improvement.
- Master the use of clinical systems to ensure efficiency, accurate documentation, and optimal coding levels.
- Ensure compliance with individual State Practice Act/Rules and Regulations/WC Regulations.
- Drive patient and client experience metrics, and communicate effectively with employers on new injuries and clinical changes.
- Participate in CLT meetings to improve quality, patient safety, and outlier management.
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with center clients and payers, responding to requests within 24 hours.
- Work with the DMO and CLT to manage clinical and support staffing levels and proficiencies.
- Promote Orange Book values and develop colleague success through all aspects of the talent life cycle.
- Foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate, maximizing employee morale and productivity.
- Accountable for understanding and input on Center financial drivers and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited medical program with a M.D. or D.O.
- Board certified by ABPM, ABFM, or medical board in the state where employed.
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
- ACLS Certified, preferred.
- Five to eight years of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.

This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the state range of $235,000 to $255,000 depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law.
