A leading manufacturer of tarp systems and trailer accessories is seeking a Sales Development Manager for the South Territory to drive sales growth in the region. This is a fully remote, travel-based position that focuses on developing new business opportunities and expanding existing relationships in the South Territory.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical sales and take a consultative approach to business development. They will work cross-functionally with marketing to create and execute territory-specific campaigns and other internal teams for smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.

The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in the designated territory, engaging potential customers through sales visits, presentations, and product demonstrations, and analyzing market trends and competitor activities to seize growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in the designated territory
  • Engage potential customers through sales visits, presentations, and product demonstrations
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing to create and execute territory-specific campaigns and other internal teams for smooth order processing and customer satisfaction
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to seize growth opportunities
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to enhance network and brand presence

The ideal candidate will have 1-15 years of sales experience, preferably in automotive (after-market accessories), trucking, manufacturing, or parts, and a Bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of relevant sales experience. They will also have excellent relationship-building skills, a consultative approach to sales, and proficiency in CRM systems, preferably ZoHo.
