Caregiver Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Generations LLC, a family-first senior living community. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development. We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and 401k employer match.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating them with dignity, respect, and compassion.
  • Follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of resident care plans.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred but not required.
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
  • CPR/First Aid certification - training is available upon hire.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient.
