Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research Associate to join our team at LiveWell Greenville. This is a full-time position that will play a critical role in leading collaborative research and evaluation projects with clinical and community health partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Institute for the Advancement of Community Health (IACH) to implement the IACH strategic plan focused on community-engaged research.
  • Manage timelines and implementation of multiple research projects, coordinating with investigators.
  • Provide technical assistance to partners for evidence-based intervention design.
  • Develop and conduct training for internal and external partners on data collection procedures.
  • Provide indirect supervision to junior staff.
  • Create study materials, including surveys and data collection protocols.
  • Conduct systematic literature reviews to ensure evidence-based practices.
  • Develop and maintain study databases.
  • Ensure adherence to data collection protocols.
  • Perform data analyses using descriptive and inferential statistics.
  • Lead the development and submission of peer-reviewed manuscripts.
  • Stay updated on emerging issues and methodologies in community engaged research.
  • Assist in grant writing and submissions.
  • Compile information for grant reports and community presentations.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree (5+ years experience) or PhD (1+ year experience) in public health or a related field; PhD preferred.
  • Knowledge of community-engaged or Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR) methods.
  • Demonstrated and progressive experience leading research and evaluation projects in community or clinical settings.
  • Proficiency in quantitative data analysis; qualitative research experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with data analytic platforms.
  • Experience in developing academic publications preferred.
  • Previous experience working with community partners in the implementation of or evaluation of community health interventions preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to balance deliverables across multiple projects and timelines.
  • Spanish language fluency preferred.
  • Ability to navigate interpersonal dynamics and work collaboratively with diverse groups.
  • Understanding of health equity, social justice, and community change.
  • Proactive and personable team player, able to work independently and in a collaborative setting.

Expected Salary: $75,000 annually depending on experience.
