At Restaurant Depot, we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Supervisor to join our team. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring that our front-end operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Summary:

  • We estimate the salary for this position to be around $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This role involves supervising and training cashiers, front-end loaders, and checkers to ensure they meet our high standards of customer service and product handling.
  • You will also be responsible for anticipating busy times and scheduling staff accordingly to prevent long lines and delayed checkouts.
  • Maintaining accurate cart-to-cart transfers and securing the front end from information exchange are crucial aspects of this role.
  • Monitors loaders to ensure product loading and checks for integrity/security, maintaining proper staffing and equipment for quick and accurate checkout.
  • Reviews errors, documents in logs, handles adjustments and returns, and monitors cashiers to ensure they follow job responsibilities.
  • Achieving exceptional customer satisfaction by quickly addressing any issues that arise is vital in this position.
  • Other duties include maintaining a New Item Request log and ensuring adequate wagon supply.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma with 4 years of customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers, staff, and management.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and technical procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations, coupled with a commitment to company values and strong customer orientation.
  • Computer Literacy and proficiency in using various software applications.

Work Environment: The work environment is generally room temperature, with occasional changes due to season and activity level.
