We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team as a Travel CNA. This opportunity allows you to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.

Job Summary

This role provides assistance with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents. The NA aids providers and nursing staff members with procedures if needed, documents resident interactions, and communicates resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.

You will also collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs, provide housekeeping and laundry services, and participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed. Additionally, you may be required to drive a motor vehicle for work-related purposes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required. You must also possess a minimum age of 16 and prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred. A Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement is mandatory.
