Program Overview

The Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader program is a comprehensive development program designed to equip pharmacists with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to succeed as Pharmacy Managers. Through a combination of self-paced learning, key learning experiences, and mentorship, you'll broaden your capabilities and understand the meaningful role pharmacy leaders play in developing their teams and delivering results.

Key Program Components
  • Self-Paced Learning: Engage with foundational knowledge and key learning experiences (KLEs) that provide opportunities to apply learning and develop skills.
  • Mentorship: Work with a dedicated coach to provide support and guidance throughout the program.
  • Assignments and Training Opportunities: Participate in hands-on training and assignments that help prepare you for the Pharmacy Manager role.
Eligibility and Requirements

To be eligible for the program, you must:

  • Be a full-time CVS Health pharmacist (30+ hours per week).
  • Have completed all required training for your current role.
  • Meet Expectations or higher rating on your last performance review.
  • Have a moderate or strong Pharmacy Manager assessment (Virtual Job Tryout) score.
  • Not be on a level three warning or performance improvement plan within the last year.
  • Be willing to consider and accept a promotion into a Pharmacy Manager position if offered.
