About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Brookdale Carmel. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of our community buildings and grounds, ensuring they are in top-notch condition.


This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and tools, and who takes pride in their work. You will be working independently, but also as part of a team, to ensure that our residents have a safe and comfortable living environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment.
  • Perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned, and respond to maintenance requests from community directors and residents.
  • Maintain positive communication with local fire marshal, building inspector, and other jurisdictions governing the community.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


You will also need to have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as well as any necessary certifications or licenses for the maintenance equipment you will be working with.
