About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Therapist Assistant to join our team at Soar Autism Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum.

Our center is dedicated to providing innovative and effective care models for kids. We empower them to reach their full potential through our specialized approach, drawing from the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy.

As a Behavioral Therapist Assistant, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6, implementing intervention plans crafted by our expert BCBAs, and fostering relationships with families to keep them updated on their child's progress within the ABA framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality ABA therapy sessions to children in our clinic, adhering to industry standards.
  • Implement intervention plans created by our experienced BCBAs, ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principles.
  • Maintain open communication with families, keeping them informed about their child's progress within the ABA framework.
  • Pursue ongoing training and development to stay current with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification.
Requirements
  • A strong preference for enrollment in or completion of a degree program, particularly in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields.
  • The ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification, with paid training provided by Soar Autism Center.
  • Previous experience working with children and a genuine enjoyment of this work.
  • Reliable transportation to both training locations and the local center, with punctuality being essential.
  • The physical ability to meet certain demands, including sitting and standing frequently, shifting positions quickly, lifting up to 50 lbs., and other requirements outlined in the job description.
  • Proficiency in computer and tablet literacy.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
