Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team at UTHealth. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients and families with complex healthcare needs.

About the Role

This is a leadership position that requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, leading and mentoring nursing staff, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current nursing licensure in the State of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $75,000-$90,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
