About the Job

We are seeking a detail-oriented Travel Planner to join our team at Faith Comes By Hearing. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for making accurate, cost-effective travel arrangements for clients within ministry guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  1. Obtain pertinent information from each traveler to create profiles, plan itineraries, purchase tickets, and reserve accommodations.
  2. Research, purchase, and arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, ground transportation, and accommodations, while adhering to travel policies and procedures.
  3. Limits liability and keeps schedule disruptions to a minimum by planning effectively, using sound judgment, and applying industry standards for layovers.
  4. Maintains safety protocols to ensure travelers' well-being in accommodations and travel schedules.
  5. Creates complex travel itineraries and compiles relevant documents for travel and meetings at destinations.
  6. Supports travelers by checking them in and providing boarding passes during normal business hours.
  7. Performs general clerical duties, including filing and entering travel data into spreadsheets.
