Job Summary:

As a CT Technologist at The MetroHealth System, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients. You will be responsible for operating CT scanners, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment during procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly
Maintain a safe and supportive environment during procedures, including ensuring patient comfort and safety
Collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment
Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH)
American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period

Preferred Qualifications:

One year related experience, as well as advanced certification through the ARRT in CT

Physical Requirements:

May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day
May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs
May need to sit or stand for extended periods
See in the normal visual range with or without correction
Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction
