We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Preferred Healthcare Staffing. This exciting opportunity is for a 13-week travel assignment in Port Orchard, Washington.

This role will involve providing speech therapy and rehabilitation services to patients at a skilled nursing facility. As a seasoned SLP, you will have the opportunity to build upon your skills while advancing your career.

Responsibilities
  1. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  2. Instruct patient/family as needed and adapt conventional speech therapy techniques to meet the needs of patients.
  3. Document all charting and paperwork accurately and concisely.
  4. Follow ASHA guidelines for ethical and high-quality job performance.
Requirements
  • Active state license as a speech-language pathologist.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • 6 months of SLP experience within the last 5 years.
