Job Title: Tax Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Gpac. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns for businesses, individuals, and trusts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns for businesses, individuals, and trusts
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations
• Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide guidance to clients and staff
• Develop and maintain client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor
• Train and mentor staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax
• CPA certification is required
• Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively engage with clients
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
